{Fancy Pants has arrived}

We just received boxes and boxes of all new Fancy pants products. Thsi new release includes 4 new lines with tons of goodies to go with them.
Rusted Sun, Road Show, About a Girl, My Family and Artist Edition embellishments. We have received so much in the last few weeks we have actually run out of paper trays and have to bring more in from storage.



PS: It looks like we will get the all new Basic Grey Capella and Max and Whiskers in time for our April 3 day crop. Watch for more details. We will post once we get our tracking number.

{Debby Schuh is coming to see us again!}

I confirmed with Debby Schuh just this afternoon she will be coming to see us in July 17 and 18th. She visited us last July and we had visitors who flew in from as far away as Alaska! You read correct I said Alaska. We all had so much fun that we decided we just had to do it again.

Although we will allow signups beginning this coming week. We only have pics of 1 of the classes so far. Debby is known for using the most current an up to date products in her classes and therefore is unable to get us samples till on or before June 1st. She is a very meticulous teachers with a close eye to details!

She will teach 2 classes on Saturday and 1 on Sunday. All the classes will be $55. Here is a sneak of the class that is ready to go.

Marah Johnson is coming to Cherry Blossom Studio! We will have a day filled with 3 Classes. There will be an incentive offered for taking 3 classes. This was just finalized today and we will post information soon. It will be here, on the website and in newsletters. You will not be lacking for information!
One of the fun techniques you will learn, is how to make flowers with paper towels.

Wow is all I can say....

Like we said January 1st.. 2010 is the year of the Cherry Blossom...lol

We posted National Scrapbook day just a few days ago and the spaces are flying. We have had more new people sign up than regulars. I am so looking forward to meeting all the crop newbies. Come on you regulars I think you might get out numbered by all our new friends at the crop. Don't delay or you will be left out. This is going to be the most spectacular themed crop you have ever attended.
I just spoke to our massage Therapist/Esthetician and she is thrilled to be joining us for the day. Everyone will be able to receive some type of treatment. Maybe, a 15 minute table massage, maybe a mini facial, brow wax anyone. You will have the choice of several services that day. We will schedule them first come first serve the morning of May 1st. The treatments will run from 10am-9pm.

We also posted our Quick Quotes event on the website as well. We will complete 6 projects between Friday night and Saturday. Anyone who has taken or attended classes at conventions will know of Michelle Granger. She is fun and talented and an awesome teacher. We have max space for 40 people total and will stop taking signups mid April in order to receive the product in time for the event. Lots of new people jumping in on this event.

I almost forgot. The photo studio is shaping up nicely. We will hopefully begin offering portrait sittings by May. Watch for further details. If you wish to be notified when we start please email or call the store.

The curent amazing deal for the cruise will be ending March 23rd. So get your deposit in soon. All-inclusive rates for oceanview start at $1481 including all meals, classes, meal gratuities, port charges and taxes. Your non participating traveller/spouse is $1131. You cannot touch these rates online at Royal Carribean. Not really interested in the event but want great rates book through our group rate and still receive the best rates on the Biggest Ship in the World, The Oasis of the Seas.

{Quick Quotes Extravaganza}

This is a fun-filled weekend with Michelle Granger and lots of awesome Quick Quotes classes. We will be making a 16x20 canvas project Friday evening. Starting Saturday morning at 9am, we will have a full day of class projects for you ranging from canvases to layouts to mini albums. We will also be providing lunch and dinner on Saturday. Below is a photo of all the class projects you will complete throughout the weekend with Michelle. All product for the these 6 projects will be included in the event price. All you will need to bring with you is wet & dry adhesive, scissors, pop dots and your paper trimmer.

{SPA-tacular National Scrapbook Day}

April 30th - May 2nd

Join us for the most amazing ,relaxing, fun weekend of scrapping and perks you have ever attended. Space is limited. The SPA service to be included will be announced at a later date but will sure to please.

Your weekend begins Friday April 30th at noon with a day of scrapping till the wee hours. The NSD festivities will begin Saturday May 1st at 10am. The hourly drawings will begin at 11am and we will draw names through 11pm.(winners need to be present) We will also have raffles in which winners do not need to be present to win.

There will be 2 make n takes each valued at $10. If you are not attending the event you are more than welcome to contact the store to signup to take the make n take that day at a designated time for $10 each. You can also just pick up the make n take kit to complete at your convenience.

{Stickles, Chalk Inks, and Paper... Oh MY!}

WOW!! WOW!! WOW!!

Michelle and I were super busy today putting out tons of new product!! Bo Bunny arrived in 8 boxes this morning! And all the chalk inks and stickles were in another box! ... And then to top it off we got another 3 boxes of Pink Paislee!! It was a great day! Take a look....

We have 38 of 44 colors because some were on back order.

And I think a full stickles rack can brighten anyone's day...

{Green at Heart & Kioshi}

Basic Grey's "Green at Heart" and "Kioshi" arrived in store Friday afternoon! These lines are just absolutely beautiful in person! The product was flying off the shelves this weekend and we are already sold out of pieces!! Stop by the store and check it all out for yourselves! {Basic Grey's Page of the Month}

Hi all! Just wanted to stop by and show off the beautiful new Basic Grey classes we are offering at the store now. It is the same concept as the "Book of Me" from last year, but has been revamped and improved greatly!!!!! I totally fell in love with the whole idea after my first class last year, and now that I am teaching it this year.... I am falling in love all over again!!!! The designers for Basic Grey just keep outdoing themselves for all of us!!!!

Aren't they awesome!?!?!? With each class you get 10 sheets of patterned paper, 2 different types of embellishments, sticker letters, color instructions with a large picture of the layout, and me! hehe :) Also, as an extra little bonus to those who attend class, I have come up with 2 additional single page layouts that we will complete before going home. So, that is a total of 3 layouts that you take home with you, 1 double and 2 singles! How awesome is that!!!!

You can find more info on our website under Events. There are only a total of 12 spots for each of these classes so please do not delay in signing up. I wouldn't want anyone to miss out of all the fun!!

For those who attend all 12 classes throughout the year, Basic Grey is offering a beautiful, FREE 12x12 D-ring album to hold all your hard work in. Doesn't get much better than that!


In other good news from the home front, Basic Grey contacted us today to let us know that our order of Green at Heart and Kioshi will arrive FRIDAY!!!!!! If you have pre-ordered anything with us or would like first dibs on all the new goodies , you can stop by the store anytime after 5pm!! But remember... Patience is a virtue when shopping product the same day it arrives. :) j/k

{Sad News-Beloved Kokuyo is going away again}

I have received an email from Kokuyo Japan advising due to confidential reasons they will no longer be selling even the Japanese version of the adhesive to the US effective immediately. Of course I found out because we were restocking our order from less than 2 weeks ago. Effective immediately the Kokuyo we have in stock is all we will have. I am so sad. We were on top of the world when after almost 3 months we were hooked up again through Japan. I feel like we are in mourning. I know it is just adhesive. We already have a hookup with another adhesive once Kokuyo is gone. We have a shipment arriving next week of the new stuff. It is called Sticky Thumb, it has 24 feet of adhesive and is very permanent. They are curretnly working on mfg refills so for the time being it is not refillable. However, it is only $2.50 MSRP. It is so strong a little goes a very long way. We will update you when it comes in next week.
PS: we may have the new Basic Grey as early as Friday! WooHoo
