Our trip to Scrapper's Dream Vacation - SDV

As most of you know we vendored the Scrapper's Dream Vacation (SDV) in Orlando at the Contemporary Hotel in Disney at the beginning of September. It was a fun-filled, over-worked, exhausting trip...but we did it - and we survived (except for Michelle who was a little under the weather - but she was a TROOPER!)

For those of you who are not familiar with SDV - this is an event put on by Dream Events. You go for 4 days of straight 24 hour a day croppin'! Nothing like sitting in a chair for 4 days, croppin', eating everything you want (chocolate), croppin', eating, mingling, croppin', eating....did I mention Croppin'! It rocked! These woman had such a BLAST! They had raffles, drawings, auctions and of course the best part of the weekend was they had us - Scrapbook Central vendoring it. Oh and there were a few other vendors there too.... LOL!
There were over 500 woman at SDV...shopping their little hearts out!

We had such a great time being a part of this weekend. The woman were so friendly and great. And they really seemed to welcome our booth. It will be nice to see some of these people again next year at SDV. So here are some pics from our fabulously exhausting trip...And for those of you who didnt attend - here's a head's up......You need to look into this for next year. It was WELL worth it! You can get all the info you need at http://www.dreameventsinc.com/
And all while this was going on we did keep the store open.....But next year we will actually be closing the store for the week. Which means that all of customers will have to come to Orlando with us! LOL
As you can see we had a little navigator with us. Elephante' gave great directions!

We were wondering why it took Michelle & Tawni 4+ hours to get to Orlando - they let Elephante' drive.....LOL

Needless to say, it only took Tammy F. 2.5 hours to get there...except for the 25 minute pitstop with Officer Johnson....He didn't like her making such great time to Orlando...He was even kind enough to give her a wonderful $215.00 gift....A lovely speeding ticket that she will cherish forever!
Now we are finally back and finally near unpacked.
The store is starting to resemble it's old self again...
