{Kokuyo Pricing Details}

A picture tells a thousand words. We have already gone through 3/4 of our order that arrived last Thursday and Friday. We are placing another order this week. As many of you know I am not able to get Kokuyo direct therefore I have to get it direct from Japan. Therefore there is a price increase. If you have your red machines from previous both refills will fit that machine. It was not cost effective to bring back the little blue one since the new Dotliner Long has triple the adhesive. You can see the size comparison to the right of the blog and see the new blue is identical to the red now.

Questions:

1. Yes we can ship anywhere in the US you pay actual shipping

2. Yes we can ship out of the country on a case by case email for more info

3. Yes we can combine shipping for groups of friends so you can share the pricing

Pricing:

Both Dotliner Power and Dotliner Long Machines come with adhesive and the body $15.45

Red Dotliner Power Refill 32ft $9.01

Blue Dotliner Long Refill 118ft $11.58

Once we receive the order you will get a paypal invoice. Orders received M-F will be shipped within 24 hours upon receipt of payment.

So spread the word to friends, message board buddies etc. The more we order the better chance we have to try and negotiate lower prices. If and when we can do that we will of course pass the savings along to you. We are currently the only store brick and mortar or online that is selling the Kokuyo adhesive.

I am in absolute astonishment. They shipped our Kokuyo order from Japan Tuesday the 16th and Wednesday the 17th and the one HUGE box arrived today already. That means the remainder should arrive tomorrow. Was off today and tomorrow but will probably go anyway to make sure everyone's product that is being shipped gets shipped by Saturday. When they told me orders could take 4-6 weeks I thought that was ship time. Evidentially, the longest part is making sure they have enough product to ship me and then it is quicker than sending a package from state to state here int he US. I am doing the HAppy Dance! If you pre committed you will have a charge going through over the next day or two and should get your goodies by the end of next week at the latest. If you have not provided credit card yet just call the store 954-247-0020 and we will get that and your shipping info to get it in the mail for you. This has been a long time coming and we will begin advertising and selling it via the website soon. In the meantime you can email or call your orders in. We pride ourselves in shipping within 24 hours M-F.

As mentioned previously I have spent some time arranging to begin receiving Kokuyo adhesive again. I was notified today that my shipment they are hoping will go out on August 16th. We will be receiving the Red Dotliner Power which contains 32ft of adhesive previously sold for $6-6.99 we will have machine $15.45 and refills $9.01. Unfortunately, with getting them from outside the country vs. a local distributor makes the pricing different. However, the Dotliner blue we will be receiving in the same style machine as the red but it contains 118ft of adhesive for $11.58. That gives you 22 feet more adhesive than the Scotch or about .42 cents cheaper. We will ship anywhere in the United States and will have it available for online ordering in the near future. We just wanted to get our initial order placed and received before we began complete advertising and online ordering. Almost the entire first order has been spoken for. However, we do have some that will be available. If you want to be guranteed some from the first order just call or email cherryblossomstudio@ymail.com and we will hold and notify when it ships. This is the point in which we will call for credit cards so as soon as the product arrives you will be charged and your order shipped immediatey.

After spending over a year trying to find another Kokuyo source I have done it. It will still be the Japanese version and the Red Dotliner Power will be more expensive than when I was able to get it direct from Kokuyo($9.01) but we will also be getting the Dotliner Long which is the dots. It comes in the same machine as the Red Dotliner Power but it has 118ft of adhesive and is $11.58 it actually makes it cheaper than the Scotch brand Dot Roller that runs $6 for 49ft of adhesive. Drop us an email if you are interested in either of these. Those on the wish list will be first in line to receive when it arrives. We will have 4-6 week wait time in between orders of we run out since it is shipping from Japan.

At the end of 2010 Cassia came to join the Cherry Blossom teaching team. Her first class with us started a monthly series called Hidden Memories. The name was derived from the fact her class layouts allow people to have 20-30 photos in a 2 page layout. It sounds pretty amazing and exceeds are expectations each month. We now plan for approximately 42 students to take the class each month and many sign up site unseen to make sure they do not miss out. This clss is one of our fastest sell outs each month.

We now offer additional layout classes that teach awesome techniques and hold quite a few pictures. Those who do not have time to create at home but have 3-4 hours 3-4 days a month to committ to attending one or more of our layout classes will end up with 6-8 layouts a month. That is 2-3 albums a year just taking layout classes. Stop in and see all the wonderful layout classes taught by Ashley, Cassia, Vicki and Cindy each month.

Here is a pic of todays class. We had a great group of ladies join us for todays Hidden Memories class with another group taking the class Saturday morning.

My name is Alison McGuinn, I live in Margate, FL just a few miles away from Cherry Blossom Studio and have been a customer since 2006! I am a CPA working at a national accounting firm, but more importantly a mother to my two boys, Tyler 6 and Carter 3. I have been married to my husband Dan for 11 years now. I started scrapbooking in 2004, after the birth of my first son. He was born with various medical issues that caused me to stay home with him for 7 months. I desperately needed something to fill my days, and had always been crafty as a child. During that time, I saw a scrapbook that somebody else made and had watched an infomercial for a scrapbooking kit on TV. I thought the hobby looked like something I could do to fill my days while at home. My first album was of my wedding. I finished it in less than a week and I was hooked! I started realizing all the different manufacturers and products that were out there besides those that could be found at Target, WalMart or Michaels. I was introduced to Cherry Blossom Studio when my cousin gave me a gift card from the store for Christmas. I now say I work to fund my scrapbooking “habit”! I like to scrap mostly photos of our family outings and holidays and enjoy using products from all different manufactures, especially Basic Grey, Crate Paper and Pink Paislee. I don’t really have a specific style, and don’t “plan” my pages. I just start cutting and pasting and don’t stop until I like what I see, sometimes that process takes me 30 minutes to create a page and sometime 2 hours. I don’t believe in measuring! I’m so excited to have the opportunity to be a Guest Designer for Cherry Blossom Studio!

Please join us in welcoming Jen Starr to the East Coast. She will be visiting us on Monday February 21st, and will be teaching 3 technique fun filled classes.

Jen Starr is the Lead Creative Designer for Canvas Concepts, a fully Ranger Certified Instructor and a Prima Endorsed Teacher. She was the 2007 Design Team Coordinator for Ranger Industries and has several signature product lines with Zsiage. Her projects have been features in several publications in the US and Europe, including the Design Originals Book "Ink Essentials".

Jen has been scrapbooking since she married her wonderful husband, Mike, in 1997. She has 2 children (5 year old Ryan and 3 year old Maya) who are now the main subject of most of her work. She has an extensive fine art background and has been formally trained since she created her first oil painting at the age of 8!

Based on Jen's art background, her classes as well as her personal work focus on artistic techniques and are very detail oriented. She has taught scrapbooking and technique classes at stores, crops, trade shows and large scrapbooking events all over the US, regularly in Europe and in Canada. She loves to bring her scrapbooks out of the albums and up on the walls to live with more openly every day. Most importantly, she loves the versatility it brings to scrapbooking. The creative options have endless possibilities!

Jen absolutely loves to teach people to use their creativity and help them think outside the box. It makes her so happy to be able to share her skills, knowledge and love of the art of scrapbooking with so many others.

We are having 3 awesome days of cropping this weekend! There is still available space on Friday and Sunday, but don't wait too long!

Choices:
Friday: 10a-11p $10
Saturday: 10a-11pm $10
Sunday:12p-5pm $5

You can sign up for 1 day or 3 days. As long as your days are consecutive you are more than welcome to leave your stuff overnight. ex. If you are attending Friday and Sunday only you would need to clear your table space for another person to use it on Saturday. This is not an overnight crop-There is space for 40 people each day.

Come join us for 3 fun-filled days of scrapping with your friends! The music is always playing and there are tons of restaurants in the plaza to grab a bite to eat... not to mention Starbucks to wake you up early in the morning... or late at night! :)

If you would like electric, please make sure to bring a 25ft extension cord. Please remember when bringing a cricut, laptop, light, and more, that there are 7 other people that share the electric hookups with you.

If you like a specific type of music please feel free to bring your Ipods and HEADPHONES. We have sirius radio playing throughout the weekend and keep the station on Sirius THE BLEND! Unfortunately, we are unable to meet the needs of all different music preferences and that seems to have the largest variety. No IPODS or computers are to be streaming music without headphones during the crop. We appreciate and Thank you for your cooperation in advance!

{Garage Sale}

Wow, what an Amazing day we had yesterday. The Garage sale began from 9-11 with vendors setting their goodies out. By 11am we had a line of about 50 people waiting to get in the crop room to begin shopping. Shortly thereafter we had in upwards of 150 people in the crop room. It was crazy insane. We ended up with over 300 people shopping throughout the day. It was just a crazy , fun, exciting mad house. Cleaning up the room afterwards was not so much fun. I could not believe the mess. It was obvious one person sold a ton as we had about 8 boxes left behind. We also found empties in the kitchen hidden behind a curtain. It became obvious more than one person sold like crazy. Shoppers were thrilled with there finds.

Tons of ladies came up and told me they sold over $500 worth of stuff in the 4 hours. Considering most items were under $5 that is just "WOW". Everyone is asking when will we do it again. They want us to do one in December. We already have one planned the day before Easter as that has always been our signature date we do and usually have the biggest response for some reason. However, if we get enough emails and calls to do one in December we certainly will. If you want another in December let me know.

Again, thanks to everyone that participated. Our next Vendor event is for consultants and those selling new items such as jewelry, tupperware, makeup and more. We are still looking for consultants from Discovery Toys, Silpada and more. This will be held October 23 from 11-3. This is the event we have been advertising to get consultants that sell new items including those who have to take orders. What a great way to start the Holiday Shopping. No laughing you guys..lol I know it is a shock to many and you are saying to yourselves " you do not wear makeup". This is true for the most part, however I do take care of my skin with a cleaning regimen so to speak. I have only been a consultant for a few days and am already feeling a change in my life and attitude. This is exactly what I needed. I love feeling like I have made a difference in someone's life. I am going to make a pact with myself to begin wearing more makeup. It is easy with Mary Kay as I love the products. I used to put on my makeup and want to take it right off as I thought it looked terrible. I like powder foundation here in Florida but it always looked terrible with flaky skin. Then my Ah Ha moment came when I tried the Microdermabrasion set. Wow, what an amazing difference in my skin instantly. I put on my makeup and it looked awesome. So half the battle is won.

Tomorrow night July 10 at 7:30 I am hosting my first class here at the store. As a Thank You to those attending either tomorrow or Wednesday at 7pm you will have the opportunity to attend the August 20-22 3 day crop for FREE. This is a $30 value. What an awesome day we have had with Lance. For those who do not know, Lance owns Rusty Pickle and is one of the most popular teachers in the World. Many know of him from conventions he has taught all around the world. It was by shear luck we fell into having Lance visit us this week. Sadly, a convention was changed from Nashville to Florida due to the recent flooding in Tennessee. Unfortunately, it was very last minute and many were not able to join us. However, we had a blast with those that were able to be here.

Here are just a couple pictures of the event.

We plan to have Lance back again and will have plenty of time for people to arrange to be here. Also, did some talking with Lance about joining us on the Alaskan Cruise in July 2011. We have everything booked and are just waiting to confirm some trade show dates before we begin taking registrations.

Don't forget the cruise fares for the Oasis Cruise with Donna Downey and Angela Magnuson was extended but only through June 8th. Hurry before this amazing adventure at sea closes out.

Wow, we have certainly been blessed this year. We have had and continue to schedule such an amazing line up of celebrity teachers. We continue to work on on additional folks but in the mean time we just added Cheryl Mezzetti to the schedule. She will be here on October 2 and 3rd teaching some amazing classes and wowing us with some fun demo's. Watch the calendar for further details. Here is a bit of info on Cheryl for those that are unfamiliar with her work.

Cheryl Mezzetti is an accomplished designer and artist who has been working in the paper arts industry for several years. She has been frequently publishedin scrapbooking and paper crafting magazines including Scrapbook Trends, Paper Trends, Correspondence Art, Scrapbooking and Beyond, Paper Creations, Paper Works, better Homes and Gardens and Paper Art. Her designs have also been featured in idea books from Making Memories and Paper House Productions. She is the current Design Team Coordinator for Creative Imaginations and Petaloo Flowers. Cheryl was a former designer for Scenic Route Paper Company and Paper House Productions. Cheryl is currently working on a book showcasing her artwork that is scheudled for release in 2010. As an instructor, she has taught at many conventionsand scrapbook stores throughout the United States, Canada and Europe.

Cheryl is a versatile crafterwho has made a name for herself as an altered artist. She turns flea market finds into breathtaking works of art using a variety of media, but oftern incorporating patterned papers and embellishments. Says Cheryl: "I believe that each of us has a passion and dream that is unique and the best way to succeed is to discover what we love and share it with others. My dream is to inspire those around me through teaching and designing using the art of scrapbooking and paper crafting".

Today is the Big arrival day. Marah touches down this afternoon at Ft Lauderdale airport. We want this weekend to be perfect! The store is all fresh and clean. We are getting ready to put Kraft paper on all the tables and begin set up. Poor Vickie will be by herself most of the day as once I leave to pick up the Kiddie's I have to almost go straight to the airport. Then we are taking her to Las Olas Blvd to a yummy dinner and some shopping.

We have received in from Creative Imaginations Oceana, Boho Girl and Boy and Lovebird. Wood paper, how fun does that sound. It is actual pieces of wood you can distress amboss and more. We also have tons of products she uses in her technique classes such as: Leafing Pens, alcohol inks, crackle paint, foil, bling to be altered, Super Seal. Later today we will receive our order of Glimmer Mist. If you are not taking the class i recommend getting here very early tomorrow to get yours. We ordered every color they had in stock which sadly was not even close to the 160 colors they have. We definately have Marshmallow coming from 2 diufferent places to meet the demand of that particular color.

I almost forgot we have tons and I mean tons of white flowers that can be altered with the glimmer mist or Luminarte. The update as of yesterday regarding Luminarte is the Mists will now not be available till late June and the daubers hopefully will start shipping by month end.

{SPA-tacular NSD has started}

Well the first day of our weekend Spa-tacular event is done.

We have a group of 40 ladies cropping and joining in the festivities this weekend. Everyone was told to leave the diets at the door and what's eaten here stays here so to speak!

They have been snacking on chocolate, muddy buddies, skittles, pretzels and more.

Tomorrow we added in some wholesome snacks of fruits and veggies. Yummy. Tomorrow night they can even dip some of those goodies into melted chocolate.

Tonight's movie viewing was It's Complicated. It was definately funny. A Big Thanks goes to Tomorrow's Rainbow for loaning us their popcorn maker. It was nice having the smell of fresh popped popcorn throughout.

Quite a few of the ladies were able to take advantage of their free spa service Friday evening and we had some very happy and relaxed looking ladies

Woodhouse Day Spa of Parkland is joining us from 11-1 to provide free skin analysis with their skin scope. Each person who participates in the 3 minute service will receive a $25 Gift Card to the SPA. They have been so generous in providing robes and products for our souvenir photo op.

We are having sandwich for lunch from Boston Market and then a delicious Italian Buffet from Amici's including Baked Ziti, Chicken Parmigiana, Penne chicken and broccoli, salad and garlic sticks. I just do not see anyone losing any weight this weekend.

We will have raffles every hour beginning at 11am

We will also be selling raffle tickets for a FREE Marah Johnson class!

We debuted our beautiful new counter skirt in the crop room. Thank you so Much to Vicki for making this happen it truly made the change we were looking for and a MAJOR POW!

We have made so many wonderful changes to the store in the last 30 days. What a difference.

We are very excited to share all the new goodies that will be arriving Friday. Just in time for our April 3 day cropathon. We have been making alot of changes to the physical appearance to the store the last 30 days or so. We are making lots of homey cosmetic changes that we think people will find very pleasing. We have added a beautiful sitting area and are back to moving the store around regularly. So do not be surprised if you come in and find your favorite line moved. I have always loved moving my furniture around and since I can no longer do that I am having a lot of fun moving the store around. We just received boxes and boxes of all new Fancy pants products. Thsi new release includes 4 new lines with tons of goodies to go with them.

I confirmed with Debby Schuh just this afternoon she will be coming to see us in July 17 and 18th. She visited us last July and we had visitors who flew in from as far away as Alaska! You read correct I said Alaska. We all had so much fun that we decided we just had to do it again.

Although we will allow signups beginning this coming week. We only have pics of 1 of the classes so far. Debby is known for using the most current an up to date products in her classes and therefore is unable to get us samples till on or before June 1st. She is a very meticulous teachers with a close eye to details!

She will teach 2 classes on Saturday and 1 on Sunday. All the classes will be $55. Here is a sneak of the class that is ready to go.

Like we said January 1st.. 2010 is the year of the Cherry Blossom...lol

We posted National Scrapbook day just a few days ago and the spaces are flying. We have had more new people sign up than regulars. I am so looking forward to meeting all the crop newbies. Come on you regulars I think you might get out numbered by all our new friends at the crop. Don't delay or you will be left out. This is going to be the most spectacular themed crop you have ever attended.
I just spoke to our massage Therapist/Esthetician and she is thrilled to be joining us for the day. Everyone will be able to receive some type of treatment. Maybe, a 15 minute table massage, maybe a mini facial, brow wax anyone. You will have the choice of several services that day. We will schedule them first come first serve the morning of May 1st. The treatments will run from 10am-9pm.

We also posted our Quick Quotes event on the website as well. We will complete 6 projects between Friday night and Saturday. Anyone who has taken or attended classes at conventions will know of Michelle Granger. She is fun and talented and an awesome teacher. We have max space for 40 people total and will stop taking signups mid April in order to receive the product in time for the event. Lots of new people jumping in on this event.

{Sad News-Beloved Kokuyo is going away again}

I have received an email from Kokuyo Japan advising due to confidential reasons they will no longer be selling even the Japanese version of the adhesive to the US effective immediately. Of course I found out because we were restocking our order from less than 2 weeks ago. Effective immediately the Kokuyo we have in stock is all we will have. I am so sad. We were on top of the world when after almost 3 months we were hooked up again through Japan. I feel like we are in mourning. I know it is just adhesive. We already have a hookup with another adhesive once Kokuyo is gone. We have a shipment arriving next week of the new stuff. It is called Sticky Thumb, it has 24 feet of adhesive and is very permanent. They are curretnly working on mfg refills so for the time being it is not refillable. However, it is only $2.50 MSRP. It is so strong a little goes a very long way. We will update you when it comes in next week.
PS: we may have the new Basic Grey as early as Friday! WooHoo

As promised here is the slideshow for all the goodies coming from BoBunny. These are just beautiful and fun. An awesome new outdoor/camping line will be great for all the those Boy Scout and Girl Scout camping trips and more. Oh and then we have our all time favorite Mama-razzi we did some pre-sales on this one and OMG people were buying 2-4 sheets of each paper plus. Everyone has high hopes for projects with this line. My personal favorite is Jazmyne probably because I love purple. Just so feminine looking.

I am pretty proud of myself. I think I have gotten pretty good with this whole slide show thing. It seems to be the best way to showcase the new lines coming in. I will be putting up Bo Bunny tomorrow. I have put together all the Basic Grey pictures for Kioshi and Green at Heart. We are hoping it will ship the first of the week. It has already been delayed once. I will call first thing Monday and confirm shipment. I know many of you have visited the store and have already seen the papers in person and placed your pre-orders. I have to say it really helps knowing how much to order. Thanks!
We have just posted the Basic Grey Card Classes for Kioshi and Green at Heart. We will offer each class twice, once in March and once in April. man they are filling up fast. We may have to order more again. Last month we ended up with 48 people for Sugar Rush. It was pretty exciting.

{Copic Color Club Coming Soon}

This is in the beginning planning stages. However, we have had a HUGE number of requests on how someone can start collecting the Copic's in a fashion that helps them decide the colors they should buy each time. Basically, each month we will provide a color list for that month. Then by the fifth of each month you will signup for the club and provide color changes if needed.( please understand all colors in the set will be used in the mini class so do not swap a color if you do not have one) You will need the colors in each monthly set. The club will meet the same day and time each month so you have the ability to plan. Each club meeting will be approximately an hour and a half.
We are still working out some of the details. You will get the mini class FREE each month when you pay for that months set of markers. The MSRP set by the manufacturer is $6.49. We will be offering a discount on the monthly set of markers by offering the 10 markers each month at $55.17 which is includes a 15% discount.

Watch for further details as we are hoping to start this program March 1st.

{Kokouyo in Stock}

We received our restock of Kokuyo last week and might I say it is flying out of the store. Although we received 300 of the orginal size we will have to place another order soon so we do not run out. That is just amazing. We just love this stuff. It sticks so well and with two sizes to choose from in the Dot Liner how can it get any better you ask...

Well effective wiith my next shipment Kokuyo has improved the long refill. It will begin coming in 36 meters vs. 26 meters. Which is a difference of 120 feet vs 85 feet. That is another 35 feet of adhesive. The fact they just raised prices last week does not make this new refill any higher. All those who love the ATG because it has 120 feet of adhesive and you hate running out so quickly and this can be your answer to the common complaint of the ATG is just so big and cumbersome.
As soon as we receive our next shipment we will begin shipping and stocking the new improved 120 foot refill. Tah dah it just got better.....

{Have to share+ Kokuyo Update}

This is totally off topic. I finally got my treadmill from Christmas and got it set up. I also got an I fit card for it as well. It changes the programming automatically for an 8 week workout. Then you can get different cards as you get stronger. So, I did my first workout tonight. Since it was doing much higher speeds than I normally would do I was dying by the first 5 minutes. I was determined to make it the whole 20 minutes. By golly I did it. Man, was I dragging and my legs were like jello when I got off but regardless I did it. It is only one day in a long journey. I am determined to buy an adorable cocktail dress for our Cruise on the Oasis in October.

Also, Kokuyo is scheduled to arrive by Federal Express Friday. All orders that have the original refill will be mailed on Friday.

{Kokuyo Price Increase}

This is the kind of post I hate to do. I was notified today that effective immediately the price of Kokuyo is increasing. Effective upon receipt of our next order the prices will be increased to represent the new cost we will be paying. We were advised this is being based on the weakening cost of the US dollar. Since this is a product that is manufactured and distributed from Japan it effects the pricing.
While I announced earlier we are sold out of the small refill it may be a good time to stock up on the Red Power and Dot Liner Long before the price increase goes into effect. Of course be assured when the US dollar strengthens and the decrease the price down that reduction will be passed back to you as well.

KOKUYO UPDATE and TIP

First I wanted to start with an update. We just sold out of the Kokuyo Original refills. We still have some machines and have tons and I do not mean 6 or 9 of the Red and Dot Liner Long. As of today we have 30-75 of each still, of the other models. We have been trying to make sure to order before we run out but we have just had a huge rush of purchases this last couple weeks.

We have a shipment of 300 of small refills alone arriving next week to hold us.

TIP: Kokuyo refills CANNOT be used without the proper dispenser!

{New Classes being added}

We have begun adding all new classes to the schedule.

This adorable box will make a perfect gift or beautiful box to hold cards all those cards you make or put a small gift in side. The sample box is at the store. This class has to be closed out on the 18th which is 10 days prior to the class so do not delay.

We also have this adorable book to put all those Valentines Days pictures in. This class will also be closed out early in order to give time to receive the product in.

Including a beginners class. This will be offered in the morning and the evening each month. We will continue to offer the one on one as requested.

We have a wonderful 2 page layout along with 2 cards using all your extras. Never have a wasted piece of paper or embellishment again.

We have also placed on the schedule Photography DSLR 103 and Photoshop 103.
The January Basic Grey classes were so popular that we have added 24 more spots/kits available in February on the schedule. Please make sure to click the correct button to tell us whether it is a Class spot or a Kit you are wanting when you register on the website.

The Basic Grey new page of the month starts in March as well. This year it is not All about Me it will be random pages using new lines throughout the year. Here is a peak into the March one. Ashley will have some tricks up her sleeve each month to help you use some of your left overs we never know quite what to do with. That will be a surprise each month and will not be pictured.

The March Great Impressions Stamp of the month is just beautiful.

We are also taking preorders on the new Basic Grey coming in this month. I want to make sure we have enough. The last 2 lines we sold out of the paper, page kits so fast this will give me a chance to add more if needed so that everyone has a chance to to in on the new goodies. We also added the card kits for the new lines as well.
The preorders are located in the events area as well. Along with all the new Donna Downey Kits that are suppose to ship on the 15th. They are just beautiful in person. We have 12 of every kit coming and since there is only 200 being produced Nationwide once they are gone they are gone. Here is a pic of a one layout, ATC and banner. There are more on the website under events. These new kits even include necessary paints.

While at the show I had an opportunity to spend some time with Marsha from Paper Loft. It is like meeting up with an old friend. She is an amazing lady who is so uplifting and motivating.

We will begin our new Beginners classes using the amazing versatile new lines from Paper Loft. We will offer 2 classes per month and each class will offer a different layout option. If you or anyone you know are interested in beginning a scrapbookers journey, this is the place to start. We also offer one on one sessions as well. You can contact the store for details.

These lines will be available in the store mid next week.

The first 5 Cricut A to Z DVD's are spoken for and are at the store. We have 5 more coming. If you are interested call the store ASAP and reserve yours.

I left for the airport last night around 8pm California time for an 11:25pm red eye flight. I usually love travelling at this time as it goes by quicker when you try to sleep. Boy, was that not the case last night. I had the luxury of sitting in the front row next to an adorable 18 mos old whose lungs were not as adorable as she was. She proceeded to scream for 4 hours straight. Then, when she finally fell asleep a very loud obnoxious woman came to the galley area by us and proceeded to have this extremely loud conversation in the wee hours and wake this child up. OMG, I was ready to kill her. Could she not hear the kid screaming the whole ride? She finally left and she slept for a while longer until the pilot came on the speaker and woke her yet again. To say the least she screamed and was still screaming at baggage claim. I really felt the embarrassment for her parents. I am lucky enough to have not had to experience my kids being unruly on a plane. I have always travelled with the little ones and car seats so they treat it as if they were in the car. Thank Goodness my kids are good car riders. To say the least I was very happy to be home. I went and picked up my kiddies and came home and began to try and get the pieces together for some blog posts with pics and slide shows etc.. You can be the judge as to how well you think they turned out. As we all know this is not my strong suit. I think I got it working. I will post another huge slide show of all the pics from CHA. I was a bad girl and did not take nearly what tammy takes. It was just me and I can multi task just not so well with the camera.
The Basic grey was just awesome. I think we will post Collection packs, card kits and page kits on the website under events for those that want to be guaranteed their goodies when they arrive. We will only post the February release for preorder right now. We will do the April after we receive the first shipment.

We also have coming the new Donna Downey kits. These are limited to 200 nationwide so don't delay or you could miss out. These are under events based on 2-28 class date. These are not classes at this time they are kits to preorder. Some are already sold out direct from Donna but if it looks like we may be selling out I can see at that time if there are more kits to be received.

I am having a tough time with these pictures lately. Please accept my apologies with pictures I am trying to figure out how to fix it. I will make sure to give links to see pictures as well as my sad little blog ones.

I had an opportunity to speak with Teresa Collins today. We are working hard to
bring her to South Florida. We want to get some feedback from everyone first. She would teach 2 classes on Saturday and 1 class on Sunday. The classes will be $70 per class. While I know no one can committ without a date. We need at least 30 signups for each class in order to bring her in. {Day One at CHA}

Well Day one has come and gone. I got so much accomplished. It was wonderful seeing old friends and making new ones. I had an opportunity to spend some time with Donna Downey and Angela and Chreis from Unity Stamp. They are all such wonderful people who strive to create the most amazing things for us. They are both very excited to be cruising with us in October. I am so grateful they have decided to join us.

The products I have seen so far are just amazing. Sadly, despite the fact I own a store it is a struggle to drag out the camera and take so many pictures. I wish my Tammy was here to take all the pictures like normal. However, I have taken some. I am struggling to get them imported into something we can all see. For now I will post just a few pics.

The new Pink Paisle all I can say is OMG it is amazing.

I am not working on my normal computer and I have no real mouse so this is going to be limited. I have a windows live account with all the pictures we have taken.
Will figure out how everyone can look at those photo's and will let you know.

Back to Pink Paislee. They have 3 new lines that are just awesome. All new fun albums one of which you can decorate with their amazing new background rubons.

Bo Bunny you can see allt he pics in a blog post from last week. Just incredible. They outdid themselves again.

{Leavin on a Jet Plane}

Well I was able to get everything done and actually got to the airport without a hitch. Headed out to Anaheim for CHA Winter. We were delayed leaving a bit and sat on the runway before takeoff for a while. Then we had terrible head winds so the flight itself took an extra 45 minutes. Then are gate was occupied when we arrived so we sat again for half hour. By the time I arrived at the hotel it was 1:40 this morning. I was so tired but actually took the time to unpack my suitcase which i never do. I always end up living out of the suitcase. I am here by myself this time and it is really weird.
I have the preshow gatherings tonight for SEI and Creative Imaginations so will try an upload a bunch of pictures tonight. There are already a few on the blog. I will put everything up on the blog I hope.
Usually Tammy F or Susan does the uploading etc. Lets see if I can do as good a job.

Ok, Ok, I know I said we were no longer going to carry acrylic stamps. I just love these and they are so awesome for using the copic markers. We are going to have to carry some select acrylic...Gotta have the Sarah Kay stamps...What we will be doing is carrying acrylic and rubber cling that lend themselves to coloring and creating beautiul cards with those amazing Copic markers that we will be getting in. Have to have a good selection to have all of our card classes we are going to schedule. Our new stamping department is going to be a dream with tons of ink and stamp choices!
